Urban Decay

Any suggestions for Urban Decay shadow pallets that are good for wearing during the day?

I like my eyeshadow to be a little dramatic, but not as extreme as some of the examples given on the Urban Decay website. I usually wear Bare Escentuals, but I am getting sick of the mess! If it would help to know before making any recommendations I have light skin, dark eyes, and dark hair. I usually like to do one very neutral color All Over and then accent with darker colors like purple, green, or brown.

Yeah, I also recommend the Deluxe Shadow Box, it has some really nice shades. The bottom three shades (Underground, Scratch and Shag) are all very blendable, pretty shades that are workable for everyday. One is brown, a light pink, and an orange-brown colour. I usually use the pink (Scratch) as my base, the brown (Underground) as my outer corner and the orange-brown (Shag, I believe) as my highlight, and blend it all in. Line with some nice matte black eyeliner, smudge carefully with a smudge brush or sponge, and finish with some Black Mascara.

Do you need to wear Urban Decay Eyeshadow for their primer potion to work?

I am new to the Urban Decay Make Up line but am going to purchase the Urban Decay Primer potion (the tube). Do you need to wear the Urban Decay eyeshadow or will this primer work well for regular eyeshadows?

No. It's just eyeshadow primer, it works with all eyeshadow, if it only worked with ud eyeshadow they wouldn't make much money. If you're looking to start using eyeshadow I really recommend the urban decay naked palette, its great and I've had mine for around 6 months and use it ALL the time. Also it comes with a mini primer potion so you get to test it out and see what you think. Another great eyeshadow primer is Too Faced shadow insurance xxxx
