What are some good Makeup tips for a young face?

i have started to wear makeup recently, and im wanting a few makeup tips. i dont want to look all cake or anything and im wondering what are some good makeup stuff i could use to make my face look natural and not cake? im thinking of a bit of blush and Eye Liner and mascara because they are my favourite so far. help please

- Don't use foundation just yet, Tinted Moisturizer is lush and makes your skin glow naturally.

- Use mascara as you please; just don't over-do it.

- If your going to wear make-up you need to take care of your skin etc, taking all your make-up off at night, moisturizing, using products that suit your skin type (oily, dry or in between).

- Vasaline is better than Lip Gloss. Seriously, Lip gloss is all sticky and disgusting. Lip Balm however makes your lips smooth & gives it a good shine.

- Use a little blusher keeping in mind that less is more. One dip for each cheek is enough.

- Use a little bit of eyeliner to define your eyes. Not too much or you'll look like a panda xD

My advice is keep it to a minimum or else instead of just wanting to use make-up you'll end up depending on it to cover up all your blemishes.
